Pine scar

The stack is evidence. The printed size is a rumor.

A catface on longleaf is ugly and accurate. Extra wrap under the lower hand is the same class of evidence: it tells you where the handle actually sat when the player squeezed.

Even two-and-two

The cloth is honest. We leave the still and send the player home with the kettle card.

Four under the left

Drop one wrap if the player already fights a flipping face. If they need the taper, we do not drop; we say so once.

Off the dowel

The ring will not pass. That handle is already a different size. We will not reprint a label to soothe a photograph.

Camp Shelby dust makes a wrap look thinner than it is. Tam keeps a damp rag and a dry rag and will not let a dusty butt pose as a stock size. If you only ever practice in a garage in Petal, bring that honesty to the kettle; the outdoor stack will still be the one we write down.
